In order to get an acceptable performance you should also have a 3D accelerator and properly configured OpenGL drivers. You can download and install the Sun J2SE runtime environment from http://java.sun.com. Gtk+ can be obtained from http://www.gtk.org.

Download the latest release of Moonlight|3D from http://www2.futureware.at/projects/Moonlight/. Extract the archive to a directory where you have write permissions. This will create a subdirectory named moonlight-0.1.0. Change into that directory and execute moonlight.sh. If all goes well Moonlight|3D should start up flawlessly.
