Installation on Linux Describe installation procedure for Linux.
Prerequisites On Linux you need to have installed at least the Sun JRE version 1.5 or higher and Gtk+ version 2.6 or higher in order to run Moonlight|3D. In order to get an acceptable performance you should also have a 3D accelerator and properly configured OpenGL drivers. You can download and install the Sun J2SE runtime environment from http://java.sun.com. Gtk+ can be obtained from http://www.gtk.org.
User Installation Download the latest release of Moonlight|3D from http://www2.futureware.at/projects/Moonlight/. Extract the archive to a directory where you have write permissions. This will create a subdirectory named moonlight-0.1.0. Change into that directory and execute moonlight.sh. If all goes well Moonlight|3D should start up flawlessly.
System Installation Currently there is no way to install Moonlight|3D for all users on a system.

In order to get acceptable performance you should make sure that you use the latest accelerated graphics drivers for your display hardware.
